Who’s Behind This Site

CSNR.in is written and run by Mahesh, based in Mumbai, India. “I’ve spent six years working in IT support for small businesses in Pune, which is where most of the fraud-prevention advice on this site comes from — helping non-technical clients recover from phishing and UPI scams firsthand.”

 “I started this site after noticing how many scam messages my own family and neighbors were getting, and how little of the advice online was specific to India.”

How We Test and Write

• Gadget and app reviews are based on  “hands-on use of at least 2–4 weeks before publishing, using devices purchased at retail price, not provided free by manufacturers”.
• Cybersecurity and scam guides are cross-checked against  “public advisories from RBI, CERT-In, and NPCI, along with the national cybercrime helpline 1930”.
• Finance content  “reflects publicly available tax slabs and rules as of the publish date; we are not certified financial advisors, and readers should confirm current rules with a CA before filing”.
